CD-ROM stands for Compact Disc-Read Only Memory. The technology is based on the CD-Audio standard. The maximum capacity in mode 1 is : for 74 minutes : 681,984,000 bytes = 650 Mb. For 63 minutes : 580,608, CD-ROM/XA stands for Extended Architecture. It is a CD-ROM standard which includes many of the CD-i options. A CD-ROM/XA is a mode 2 CD, on which data can be stored either in form 1 [2048 usable bytes / sector] |

| The first part [session] is an audio part corresponding to the 'Red Book' specification. This format can thus be played on any audio CD-player. 1. JEWELBOX
The Jewelbox is a standard plastic box for 1 CD. It consists of a transparent cover and an anthra-cite tray. It's the most used CD-plastic packaging. The Jewelbox has capacity for one booklet and one inlaycard. Click the links below to download the templates.
The Carton Sleeve is the most simple packaging method. No booklets or inlaycards can be inserted, only 1 CD. Click the link below to download the template.
3. BRILLIANTBOX
The Brilliantbox in the whole corresponds to the standard Jewelbox. however it has capacity for 2 CD's, which are kept on the front and on the back tray. The Brilliantbox can hold one booklet and one inlaycard. Click the links below to download the templates.
4. MULTIBOX
The Multibox is suitable for the reception of 2 to 4 CD's. The outer cover is transparent, the trays are anthracite or black. In this box you can put 2 inlaycards and 1 additional booklet. Click the links below to download the templates. |
