DVD Production Authoring [Masters | Authoring]

Masters

Only the following types of masters are accepted for DVD pressing : 

1. DVD-5 : DVD-R ready for production or 1 DLT Tape ready for production [DDP 2.0 Protocol].

2. DVD-9 : DLT Tapes ready for production [DDP 2.0 Protocol] are accepted as masters, one tape per layer or 1 Dual Layer DVD+R [not DVD-R] ready for production.

3. DVD-10 : 2 DLT Tapes ready for production [DDP 2.0 Protocol] are accepted as masters, one tape per side or 2 DVD-R masters ready for production.
 

Authoring

1. High End Authoring : The top level. Meant for home entertainment, commercial presentations, corporate movies at the highest quality, including all the possibilities of the DVD-medium like multi-angle views, Dolby 5.1, different sets of subtitles, macrovision anti-copy protection, complex authoring, etc. These projects can take several weeks or months because all content is examined frame by frame including adaptation of transitions and editing [if necessary] to get the best quality possible. Prices on demand.

2. Industrial Authoring : High-quality hardware encoding with variable bitrate, construction of menu's, repeat functions, loopfunctions, etc...
